Website Update – A Little Progress, A Lot of Patience, and Some Exciting Things Ahead!

Hi Farm Friends! ❤️🐷🐮🐔

Well, my friends, if only I had a background in e-commerce and website development, I think this next chapter of our website journey might have gone a little more smoothly! But as with most things in life, there has been a learning curve, a few unexpected bumps in the road, and a whole lot of patience required!

But I have some good news to share!

Our website is officially back up and running with a fresh new look and feel! While the online ordering portion is still a work in progress, there is so much more to explore!

You'll find more information about our family farm, our processing facility, and a little sneak peek at what's happening with our NEW Pure Country Farm Store!

Speaking of the new store, we're making progress and are now anticipating an opening sometime between late October and early November! Believe me, nobody is more excited (or impatient!) than I am to get those doors open!

I keep reminding myself that *patience is the key to success*—although some days I think I could use a little extra patience delivered by the truckload! 😂

I also want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your kind words, encouragement, well wishes, and gracious understanding as I've been navigating this website redesign.

Those few weeks of battling a eyes issue, when I could barely look at a computer screen for more than 15 minutes at a time, really set me back. But little by little, things are coming together!

Sometimes I have to remind myself that helping run a family business isn't always about how quickly you get things done. It's about putting your heart and soul into what you do and making sure it's done right.

And that's exactly what I'm trying to do!

Do you have a family-favorite recipe using Pure Country meats? Maybe it's Grandma's famous meatloaf, your secret BBQ rib recipe, or a weeknight dinner your family requests over and over again!

I would love to create a special page on our website featuring Farm Friends' Favorite Recipes!

Send me your favorite recipes along with photos of your delicious creations, and I'll be featuring some of them on our website!  SUBMIT these by October 31st to be entered into our Recipe drawing!  You could be a lucky winner of a HOLIDAY HAM.  The more recipes with photos of Pure Country products used the more entries you will receive!

I think it would be so much fun to share a little bit of everyone's kitchen creativity with our Pure Country family!

Here's a little reminder for those who may not know:

Every online order is now personally packed by yours truly—me, myself, and I until the new store location is done and Kenzie has been fully trained. 😂

That means every box is put together with a whole lot of care, attention, and appreciation. One order, one box, and one package of meat at a time!

It may take me a little longer than a big fulfillment warehouse, but I promise there is a whole lot of heart behind every box that leaves our facility.

You all are truly amazing, and I am so incredibly grateful for the support you continue to show our family farm and small business.
