TO PRODUCE HIGH QUALITY PORK and BEEF THAT HAS BEEN BORN AND RAISED IN A SUSTAINABLE AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT, WHERE THEY ARE FREE TO MOVE ABOUT AND HAVE ACCESS TO FRESH WATER AND WHOLESOME FEED THAT IS SPECIFICALLY FORMULATED TO THEIR GROWTH NEEDS, WITHOUT ANTIBIOTICS, ADDED HORMONES, GROWTH STIMULANTS, OR ANIMAL BYPRODUCTS. NOT ONLY DO WE HOLD THOSE STANDARDS FOR OUR PORK BUT WE ALSO HOLD THAT STANDARD FOR OUR BEEF PROGRAM THAT IS FREE RANGED NON-GMO FED TO PRODUCE SUCH A HIGH QUALITY WHOLESOME PRODUCT THAT WE STRIVE FOR.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
From birth to harvest, we strive to raise the most economical, highest-quality, free-range pork and beef as possible that is completely free of antibiotics, hormones, and animal by-products. We do all this while promoting sustainability to the environment, the community, and individuals.
OUR STORY
Pure Country Farms was founded by Paul Sr., who began his career as a pig farmer with guidance from his father and involvement in 4-H and FFA. This year we are celebrating his 49 years in the pig farming industry.
His son, Paul Jr., joined him at a young age and became his business partner and has been farming along side his father for over 35 years.
Together, they have transformed the family farm into one of Washington States leading farming operation’s specializing in producing pork and beef products that are:
*Free of Antibiotics, *Free of added Hormones, *Free of Growth Stimulants, *Free of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), *Free of MRNA Vaccine , *and Raised in a Free-range and Natural environment
The families mission is simple and they are dedicated to provide high-quality, free-range pork and beef to families across the United States while prioritizing sustainability and promoting animal welfare.
As the fear of Genetically Engineered Organisms began rising in the United States, the family took matters into their own hands to ensure that their products never contained them and became one of the FIRST meat producers in the United States to become Non-GMO verified along with becoming one of the first hog operations to become Food Alliance Certified. This was a huge achievement for a small American family farm and one they are proud of. Being able to truthfully promote these certifications ensures all of our customers that we stand by our promise to provide American Families with high quality American Farm Raised meat products.
The farm spans over 100 acres in the Columbia Basin in the small town Ephrata, WA, raising pigs, cattle, horses, and the youngest farmers in the family, Nate and Rowdy, have some chickens and ducks.
Pigs on the farm are raised in large open hoop structures, which protect them from weather ailment’s, while also allowing them free range and access to nutritious Non-GMO grains milled on the farm, and fresh water outside the hoop houses.
Many Cattle can be found roaming across the Pacific Northwest foraging in the mountains and grass lands for several months and then they are brought back to the family farm where they begin the final growing stage and are grain finished with our Certified Non-GMO grains.
